Oli Wray-Shaw

Oli is responsible for leading the Early Career Framework programme as well as the suite of National Professional Qualifications offered by Inspiration Teaching School Hub. He is a facilitator on the whole Golden Thread of ITT, ECF and NPQs. Oli also leads on internal quality assurance and the strategic leadership of the TSH. In addition, he supports with appropriate body work as well as partnerships and relationships.  

Oli began as a primary school teacher in 2015 and has worked in Peterborough, Norfolk and internationally, in Vietnam. He has wide-ranging experience with subject leadership and phase leadership and has been both an Assistant Principal and Acting Vice Principal. Oli led predominantly on curriculum, teaching and learning, and teacher development. 

During his career, Oli has supported teachers through mentoring, including trainees and ECTs, and coaching, including classroom teachers and aspiring senior leaders, as well as creating and running a subject leadership coaching model. 

Oli is passionate about educational research and supporting teachers to be the best they can be. He is keen to work with schools across the Teaching School Hub area to raise standards for all our pupils in the region. 

In his spare time, Oli enjoys trips to the coast with his wife, playing football and supporting Liverpool FC, and running, as well as spending time with his cat.
